The build consists of Baseball Bat as the main source of damage against bosses and tanky enemies, and Throwable Objects as a main weapon for biomes, Cudgel in backpack for bosses (I personally only use it vs Scarecrow, HoTK, Servants, Mama Tick and Spoiler boss). ![]() For the rest, simply hit them normally and parry when you can if you want to be efficient, but keep in mind that currently the Pure Nail seesms to have some sort of a bug that causes enemy attacks to be delayed when you strike them constantly with the basic attack (non crit), so it will take some practice to learn parrying the bosses which take many hits between each attack (this is also the main reason I cheese HoTK, try beating him once without cheesing and you'll understand why I'm preferring to cheese him) Get Movement Speed affix on your Face Flask and reuse it whenever you are able to (you can use it during a dodge to keep momentum).īosses: The Pure Nail can cheese most bosses with the downward attack, but you lose DPS overall when you do this, I would normally only cheese Mama Tick and HoTK. If they are tanks in the early biomes like Prison Depths you might need to hit them twice or more with the nail, but since the Pure Nail has no animation lock, you shouldn't have any issues since you can parry or dodge through at any time. ![]() I rarely find myself requiring to parry attacks in biomes, therefore I use the Front Line Shield which provides an additional damage multiplier on parry, to melt bosses even faster.īuild playstyle: Run through enemies while hitting them with the nail, even if they dont die from the nail, Electrodynamics will most likely finish them off. I also use Face Flask to not only act as a powerful trigger for additional damage multipliers, but also to increase my movement speed which is really fun in biomes. This build is very fast paced, as the Pure Nail can attack while moving, and Electrodynamics deals damage around the player, that will chain through enemies to deal even more damage to larger groups.
